tell me the bad newsMoney. Well, it had to come up eventually Let’s get one thing clear – we at Camouflaged Learning are never going to be rich. We’re all too aware of that. But that’s OK, because we don't want to be (well, we do, but we don’t really mind too much if we’re not). Because of this our pricing policy is simple: we charge enough to cover our expenses and to allow us to do what we love, to the best of our ability. This means two things for you: firstly, we’re significantly less pricey than other folk in the same industry; and secondly, by saving you lovely people money we’re hopeful that you'll be able to use us again and again, granting your students and staff as many worthwhile experiences as possible…whilst keeping us in crisps and fizzy drinks. Which, deep down, is all we really want. 'As a general rule of thumb, prices for a day start at £250, but it's tricky to give a schedule of charges here as the prices charged for projects vary widely for a number of reasons: 1)The
size of the groups we work with makes a big difference, so we try to
work on a 'per-pupil' price as much as possible.
2)Some projects are naturally more resource-hungry, or require the purchase of more expensive equipment; whilst we try not to pass any of this cost on to you, a project that involves sending students on a field trip to the Moon will always be more pricey than one that involves sending students on a field trip to Maidstone (unless you live on the Moon). 3)Although the majority of our programmes are designed to run for one day, it is possible to design them to run over a number of days, or for just an hour or two; the length of the project would obviously affect the price. 4)Some projects are run through or on behalf of partner agencies; these agencies have their own pricing structures and as such we are not able to set prices in our usual way; they sometimes even have concessions or funding to offer. These projects will always be highlighted as such at the end of their appropriate mini-blurb. Camouflaged Learning staff are also available to create bespoke projects or deliver externally sourced material – rates for this would vary dependent on the nature of the work and, to a lesser extent, the price of crisps and fizzy drink.
